The average American probably hopes that he or she will not have to face the Ramen noodles that sustained them through a cash-strapped college career. Thankfully, Chicago’s Buzz Bar has gone against these feelings, offering up a true innovation in burger science: the Ramen Noodle Burger.
This wonderful creation features a burger on two buns made from Ramen noodles, when have been gently fried in butter for a satisfying crunch. The rest of this spectacular specimen is made up of kobe beef, aged cheddar, a fried farm-fresh egg, sun dried tomatoes, arugula, and topped off with Sriracha sauce.
Buzz Bar (1935 W. Irving Park Rd.) also offer a glazed doughnut burger, a salmon burger, a Foie Gras burger, and the Alamo: a burger with ground pork, Spanish chorizo, Mexican chorizo, and black bean puree.
If you’re just looking for a snack to go with your beer, definitely try the crispy pig ears or the hipster poutine, which is made with house-made frites, smoked bacon, Tasso ham, and aged cheddar.
Lastly, at least one source has confirmed that the bar also has a secret menu (shh!) that includes a four cheese-stuffed burger, and a double decker burger too.
