Hales Property Management Newsletter

2014 Spring Newsletter – Hales Property Management, Inc.

Greetings! Hello everyone and welcome to our March Newsletter. Inside you’ll find tips on how to prepare for spring, the latest Hales news, and more useful information you can apply to your unit.

Hales Springs Into Action

Mother Nature can’t stop us from getting started on some early spring projects. In this photo, Hales contractors are replacing an entire deck for this Association so it will be ready for summer BBQ’s and overall enjoyment.

Hales Updates and News

Since the last newsletter, we proudly welcomed a new Property Manager, Marco Trusewych, and Account Assistant, Ashley Swader, to the team. Both have considerable experience in their respective fields and are valuable additions to our management group. Please join us in welcoming them both!

We’d also like to give a big welcome to our newest client buildings: LaVentana, Catalpa, Portals on Grant, Arthur Arms, and Wolcott Lofts.

As we (finally!) get ready to welcome spring, we’ll be coordinating carpet cleaning, roofing maintenance, landscaping and window washing to ensure our buildings are up to spec and ready for the spring season. Buildings will be alerted about individual projects as they come to your property if applicable.

Getting Ready for Spring

Melting snow and heavy rain may continue to cause water in the vicinity of your building. We keep an eye out for these kinds of things, but please let us know immediately if you see flooding that might affect your building. Following us on Facebook and Twitter is a great way to stay in the loop for all things relevant to your building and the area around it. You can send us feedback as well!

From the Desk of Keith Hales

It’s been a challenging winter for Chicago. Many of our Associations are still finishing up repair projects as a result of pipe bursts and other cold weather related issues. Fortunately, we have a strong team of managers and accounting staff who were ready to rise to the challenge. In addition, our web portal system certainly helped both residents and managers execute a multitude of residential requests. I’m happy to report that we have already completed over 500 tasks this year alone!

We continue to strive for innovative methods and advantageous programs in order to maximize value for each of our buildings. In late 2013, we teamed up with ComEd to replace all common area lights with LED bulbs. As a result, we’ve seen a great deal of cost savings in both electricity bills and replacement bulbs.

As we begin the second quarter, we’re looking forward to additional spring and summer project opportunities. If you see anything of concern in your building or have any questions with regards to a potential project, please do not hesitate to log into your private web portal and submit a resident request online.

Thanks and happy Spring!
