We are pleased to announce that as part of “Hales Helps Out”…. our staff is organizing a Food Drive to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository which serves more than 678,000 people annually and includes 400 pantries, soup kitchens and shelters. Each week, they serve men, women and children within Cook County, Illinois.
We have registered our food drive with the Food Depository and have selected November 14, 2014 as our “pick up” date at each one of our participating buildings. You may also drop off your food donations to our office at 1411 W. Chicago Ave Suite #1 between 9AM – 5PM daily through the 14th.
We will be putting up Food Depository signs at your building’s drop off area. Please put your non-perishable food donations in plastic shopping bags at this location by 9:00 AM Friday November 14th when the Hales Team will collect them and remove the sign.
The most needed items are canned fruits and vegetables, cereals, jelly, macaroni and cheese, pastas and pasta sauces, peanut butter, rice, soup, stew and tuna. Perhaps you already have some of these items in your cupboards at home.
We have selected the 14th for our food drive in order to have the Food Depository pick up the food from our office in time to prepare their Thanksgiving and Hanukkah holiday meals and distributions to the needy.

We thank you in advance for participating in this very worthy drive to help feed the less fortunate.
