2018 Food Drive

We are pleased to announce our 6th Annual Food Drive to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository! Last year, we collected over $1,500 in combined food and monetary donations, which provided roughly 5,500 meals to Chicago residents. Our goal this year is to collect $5,000 in donations, which will provide 15,000 meals!! We will be holding a food drive at participating client locations on December 7^th, 2018 to collect food items (more to come on this!). How To: Actually Save Money During Black Friday

It’s November again, which means the biggest shopping day of the year is upon us. Attitudes on Black Friday vary, from those willing to stand in line for hours to score a deal, to those who choose to ignore the madness entirely. One thing’s for sure, it can be easy to get swept up and spend too much with all of the deals advertised. Here are three tips to get the most out of Black Friday this year.

Go into it prepared. Rather than buying things on the fly because it seems like a good deal, think of what you actually need and go into Black Friday with that in mind.
Don’t buy things on impulse. That’s what sales are for, after all. But no matter how high the discount, don’t buy the item just because you’re “saving money”. If you didn’t need the thing in the first place, then you’re not actually saving money, are you?
Save your time. If you spend too long waiting for a door buster or browse Amazon for 12 hours, you might not be getting as good of a deal on sales items as you think. Get in, get out, and be done with it.
