KEEP WARM THIS WINTER
Tis the season for colder weather, snow, ice skating, presents, hot chocolate and magnificent Christmas lights. Here are some tips to help you gear up for the harsh winter conditions:
- Reverse the direction on your ceiling fans. This will push the hot air down and help it recirculate through out the house.
- Move furniture off your vents.
- Have your furnace serviced to make sure it is running properly and safely.
- Wrap the windows in plastic to keep out those arctic blasts.
- Shut the door on rooms you do not use.
Why LED Christmas Lights?
- LEDs use 90% less electricity than regular Christmas lights
- Last up to 100,000 hours
- The bulbs are plastic instead of glass
- No bulbs to replace
- LEDs come in a variety of styles
- They do not get hot

FROM THE DESK OF KEITH HALES
As the holidays approach, unfortunately the thieves start licking their chops. Don’t forget to take steps to secure your home such as informing a neighbor, re-routing mail/packages if traveling, or enabling alarm. Never post your departure on social media sites or turn off your furnace. These simple steps among others will certainly help deter unwanted guests and avoid headaches upon your return.
